Is your child ready to visit the dentist?
There’s no reason to worry when it comes to taking your child to visit the dentist for the first time. The general guideline is that your child should have their first dental visit within 6 months of their first tooth erupting and no later than their first birthday. That said, if you are concerned about your child’s teeth in any way or have a family history that is causing concern, we recommend that you contact our office early to ensure your child’s teeth develop in good health and with the care they require.
