A Passion for Dentistry and Lifelong Learning
Dr. Danny’s journey in dentistry began with a Bachelor of Health Science with Honours from the University of Adelaide, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Sydney. His interest in the field was sparked by his brother, also a dentist, inspiring Dr. Danny to bring his health-centred passion into dentistry. He’s committed to maintaining high standards of care and consistently advancing his skills to bring patients the latest in dental technology and techniques.
Memorable experiences, such as his rural placement in underserved Australian communities where he taught and provided care, have deeply shaped his approach to compassionate, inclusive care. Dr. Danny is not only dedicated to exceptional patient care but also to giving back through community involvement and education.
To further his expertise, Dr. Danny has earned various certifications and affiliations, including:
- UBC Implant Maxicourse Alumni
- Fellowship training in Implant Dentistry at the Torki Institute in Cairo
- Memberships in the Canadian Dental Association, British Columbia Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Academy of Clear Aligners
Extensive Experience and a Specialized Approach
With over 15 years in the field, Dr. Danny has practiced dentistry both in Australia and Canada, bringing a wealth of diverse experience to New Look Dental. After moving to the Okanagan Valley in 2020, he practiced in Okanagan Falls and Kelowna before finding his ideal home in West Kelowna. While he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he has a special interest in complex surgical procedures, including wisdom teeth extractions, implants, and full-mouth rehabilitation. This hands-on approach allows him to cater to various patient needs and provide a comprehensive scope of services under one roof.
A New Vision for West Kelowna’s New Look Dental
As the new owner, Dr. Danny envisions New Look Dental as a clinic that prioritizes patient-forward care.
“I wanted a place where we could focus entirely on what’s best for the patients, free from the constraints of traditional practice management,” he explains.
His goal is to create a clinic known for its comprehensive in-house services, covering everything from complex wisdom tooth extractions and bone grafting to Invisalign and Botox treatments. Dr. Danny is also expanding hours to accommodate busy schedules, including one Saturday a month to better serve professionals and families.
Dr. Danny’s Patient-Centred Philosophy
Dr. Danny’s approach to care is all about putting the patient first.
“I believe in empowering patients with information so they can make choices tailored to their needs and goals,” he says.
He takes time to answer questions and explain treatments thoroughly, ensuring that each patient feels heard and supported in their care journey. This philosophy aligns with New Look Dental’s commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred services that put your well-being at the forefront.
Embracing Innovation and Technology
In keeping with his forward-thinking approach, Dr. Danny is introducing advanced dental technologies to enhance patient care. New Look Dental now offers 3D X-rays through our CBCT machine, which allows for precise implant planning and treatment. Additionally, the clinic will feature an intra-oral scanner for fast, accurate imaging, replacing traditional impression materials and streamlining procedures for crowns, bridges, night guards, Invisalign, and more. These advancements are designed to improve both the accuracy and comfort of your dental experience.

As a proud new member of the West Kelowna community, Dr. Danny is eager to give back and is already sponsoring the West Kelowna Hockey Centre. “Our focus on patient care remains steadfast,” he shares, “and our recent technological updates are just the beginning. We’re dedicated to providing excellent care, with no changes to our fee structure, as our rates are set by the Dental College and will never exceed this.”

Outside of work, Dr. Danny enjoys exploring new places, discovering local eateries, and supporting small businesses in today’s challenging economy. Coming from a family who immigrated to Australia in the 1980s, he has a deep understanding of resilience and compassion, values that influence both his professional and personal life. These principles allow him to connect with patients from all walks of life, offering care that respects and values diverse backgrounds and circumstances.
